We have really good news for lovers of Polish cuisine, especially the pierogi variant: there is a a lot of Places to get good Pierogi in Indiana. Sure, many of them claim to be the best, but when it comes to Indiana’s best pierogi, we think there’s only one clear winner, and that’s Jax’s Crown Town Grill. Born from an already legendary Hoosier State favorite, Jax’s makes excellent pierogi look easy. Come out and bring an appetite: these delicious bites are a real treat.

In 2020, the owners of Pierogi Square bought a popular local eatery called the Crown Town Grill, and it wasn’t long before Pierogi Square closed and opened Jax’s Town Grill, affectionately named after their son, who developed a passion for cooking himself, we’re guessing (and has been for years).

But the one thing Jax’s Crown Town Grill is most famous for is a wonderful thing indeed; his absolutely, totally, 150% Beyond Killer pierogi selection really is to die for.

Delicious, tender dough is wrapped around a filling – traditionally either savory or sweet – and then boiled in a pot of water. They’re often fried in a pan before serving, and the pierogi served at Jax’s are truly the best we’ve had.
